The NLC offers before-school care with transportation to the local public schools along with breakfast. After-school care is offered with transportation from school to the Center along with a nutritional snack, homework time, tutoring and age-appropriate activities in a safe and secure environment. The children play games, participate in music class, do experiments and craft-based activities that enable them to explore and learn—all while continuing to develop social and emotional skills. Outdoor activities include both organized and free choice play like science and nature studies. There is no scheduled TV viewing. We keep their bodies and minds busy and engaged! An all day school-aged program is available for registered children on school holidays, vacation weeks and snow days, as well as over the summer.
